Keep calm and shoot straight when you try archery in Bristol! We are offering beginner archery lessons for juniors and grown ups at this outdoor activity site between Bristol and Bath. Hosted by an enthusiastic team of ArcheryGB instructors you’re bound to have a ball with your bow and arrow. These archery sessions take place at the popular Avon Farm. A dedicated target archery zone has been set up on the edge of the park ensuring archers of all ages can shoot in safety yet you’re just minutes away from all the facilities of the main park (including a great cafe!). This Bristol team teaches what they call ‘barebow archery’. That means it’s back to basics with easy to handle recurve bows with no gadgets like sights or stabilisers to deal with. It’s just about you the arrow and the bow getting the basic techniques right so that you hit the target.
